A recent research result published in ACJC (A Cancer Journal for Clinicians) has found that people with excess body weight were found to be prone to more than 10 cancers. Cancers such as breast cancer, prostate cancer, and many more fatal cancer problems are caused due to obesity. It is also observed that people who are obese are not aware of the diseases and the relation of obesity with cancer. People that are unaware are more likely to be infected as they do not take the necessary precautions nor do they work towards achieving a better physical health.
Obesity has many other health disorders such as heart diseases, improper functioning of the organs, etc and yet people have been unaware of these issues or ignorant towards it. Obesity is responsible for 4% cancers all around the world which is more than 500,000 cases in the year 2012.
It is also expected that by 2030, there will be more than 20 million new cancer cases and around more than 10 million deaths due to cancer. This will be magnified by the poor lifestyle that has been adopted by the people and the living style of people has been going into the deeper end.
The bad habits that are being adopted by people are only going to make them lazy and obese exposing them to cancer and other fatal diseases. It is also found in research that the average body weight in men and women has increased by 20% than the normal rate which is very disturbing and worrisome. This research shows that obesity is not a problem that is restrained to a particular country or community of people but it is widely spreading as people are being attracted towards an unhealthy and lazy lifestyle. In order to prevent future numbers of cancer deaths and infections, it is important that people start opting a healthy lifestyle.
